Our outreach work began entirely within central Kasarani, but Roysambu became our second regular outreach area after a small group of residents, having heard about our work through relatives, organised themselves and asked whether we could bring similar support to their own area.

That pattern, residents organising and requesting support rather than us simply expanding wherever seemed convenient, has held up well since. Roysambu's first outreach day drew a strong turnout precisely because interest existed locally before we ever arrived.

We've since tried to make this the default way we grow into new areas: waiting for genuine, organised interest rather than expanding purely on our own initiative. It results in slower growth, but outreach that tends to stick once it starts.
