Maternal health outcomes often hinge on things that have nothing to do with clinical skill: whether a pregnant woman knows the warning signs that mean she should seek care immediately, and whether she's attending antenatal visits at all.

A partnership with a Kasarani-area dispensary now brings a nurse or community health volunteer directly into our regular gatherings to run short maternal health sessions, covering antenatal care, nutrition during pregnancy, and warning signs that shouldn't be ignored.

This is the kind of partnership our Constitution anticipates directly: we provide community access and trust, the dispensary provides clinical expertise, and residents get information they might otherwise only encounter after a problem has already developed.
